Sandblasting hall with sliding roof for Bijol d.o.o.: crane straight into the hall
SAPI built a 9 × 5 m sandblasting hall with a sliding roof for Bijol d.o.o.: an overhead crane lowers heavy and oversized parts straight into the hall from above.

Moving heavy or oversized workpieces into the sandblasting hall through a door is not always possible. For Bijol d.o.o., SAPI therefore built a sandblasting hall with a sliding roof: the roof opens, and an overhead crane lowers the parts straight into the hall from above.
The hall at a glance
The hall is 9 metres long and 5 metres wide and is designed for efficient, safe and economical blasting:
- Sliding roof opening for the overhead crane, so heavy parts get into the hall without detours
- Flat conveyor system in the floor for a continuous abrasive circuit with little cleaning effort
- SAPI filter system for clean air and good visibility during blasting
- Full rubber lining of the walls, which protects the hall and extends the service life of the abrasive
- LED ceiling lighting for good visibility from floor to ceiling
- Complete protective equipment including blasting helmet and respiratory filter
The hall was built in accordance with the applicable local and European safety regulations.
Your hall, your workflow
Whether similar, larger, smaller or fully tailored to your workflow: SAPI plans sandblasting halls from 3 to 100 metres in length. Crane runway openings and ceiling openings can be integrated into the roof structure if required.
