Three Machine Types – One Solution for Every Requirement

SAPI wheel blast machines are manufactured in three main types: roller conveyor, overhead rail and tumble belt blast machines. Each machine type is optimised for specific workpieces and requirements and can be supplied in many equipment variants.

Roller Conveyor Blast Machines Type RS

Continuous blast machines for roller-conveyor-compatible workpieces such as sheets, profiles, pipes, bars and structural parts.

How It Works & Advantages

SAPI roller conveyor blast machines enable all-round blasting of various roller-conveyor-compatible workpieces in a single pass. The workpieces are placed on the roller conveyor in the direction of travel and automatically transported through the blast chamber.

  • Automatic blast media feed: After passing through the entry airlock, the blast media feed to the blast wheels is automatically released by a switching threshold
  • Integrated cleaning: Rotating brush and air nozzles remove residual blast media from workpiece surfaces
  • Optimal blast media cleaning: Multi-cascade air separation and screening ensure clean blast media
  • Sound insulation enclosure: Available complete with sound insulation for low-noise operation
  • Workpiece widths from 500 mm to 4,000 mm available as standard

The scope of delivery also includes high-performance filter systems for dust extraction as well as automatic painting and drying systems for sheets and profiles.

How It Works & Advantages

SAPI overhead rail blast machines are designed for a wide variety of blasting tasks: deburring, desanding, cleaning, descaling, peening and finish blasting. The workpieces are hung on rotating hooks and automatically transported into the blast chamber.

  • Automatic chamber door: Pneumatically closed and locked – no unauthorised opening during the blasting process
  • Rotating & oscillating blasting: Workpieces are blasted from all sides in different positions
  • Y-configuration: Allows loading of new workpieces during blasting time for maximum productivity
  • 5 installation variants: Flexibly adaptable to spatial conditions
  • Lift-lower stations: For larger systems with higher weights and dimensions
  • Workpiece diameters from 600 mm to 2,500 mm

From heavy castings to delicate, lightweight aluminium workpieces – SAPI overhead rail blast machines handle every challenge.

Tumble Belt Blast Machines Type MG & MS

Economical solution for blasting bulk small parts and loose material – for deburring, desanding, cleaning, descaling and peening.

How It Works & Advantages

SAPI tumble belt blast machines are the ideal choice for the economical processing of bulk small parts. The workpieces are loaded onto an endless belt made of rubber or steel slats and evenly blasted from all sides during the revolving tumble belt operation.

  • Two belt variants: Rubber belt (piece weights up to 20 kg, batches up to 1,000 kg) or steel slat belt (piece weights up to 200 kg, batches up to 3,000 kg)
  • Fully automatic operation: Automatic pneumatic chamber locking for safe operation
  • Optimal blast media cleaning: Multi-cascade air separation, magnetic separation and screening
  • Flexible integration: Optimally integrated into the workflow through suitable loading and discharge devices
  • High-performance filter system: Included in the SAPI scope of delivery for clean exhaust air
