CORE sandblasting hall for Ferolin d.o.o.: preconfigured and quickly in operation
SAPI built a CORE sandblasting hall for Ferolin d.o.o.: the preconfigured sandblasting hall with automatic abrasive circuit, filter system and rubber lining. In the video, Nataša Kajzer of SAPI Slovenia takes you through the hall.
Not every sandblasting hall has to be planned from scratch. With the CORE sandblasting hall, SAPI offers a preconfigured sandblasting hall in three fixed sizes: fully equipped, clearly defined and quickly available. One of these halls is now in operation at Ferolin d.o.o.
A tour of the hall
In the video, Nataša Kajzer of SAPI Slovenia takes you through the hall for Ferolin d.o.o. She shows the design, the equipment and the safety features that protect operators and support compliance with environmental regulations. The hall is designed for very different blasting tasks, from delicate parts to large steel structures.
What every CORE hall includes
- Construction: walls and ceiling made of sandwich panels, joined with sheet steel profiles, double-leaf door
- Wear protection: hard-wearing rubber lining on the entire wall surface (69–82 m² depending on the model)
- Abrasive circuit: the patented SAPI flat conveyor system returns the abrasive fully automatically
- Filter system: Schirocco PC4 or PC8 with 3,000 or 6,000 m³/h, residual dust content below 5 mg/m³
- Blasting technology: 100-litre blast pot, pressure range 0.1–12 bar
- Electrics and lighting: control cabinet to VDE standards (IP 54, 8–10 kW), two LED ceiling lights of 200 W each

Installation in an existing factory hall
The CORE hall is installed on an existing, level concrete floor in your factory hall. On site, you only need to provide compressed air and power (400 V / 50 Hz). Because size and equipment are fixed, there is no long planning phase as with a custom plant.
CORE or custom sandblasting hall?
If your workpieces fit into one of the three CORE sizes, the preconfigured hall is the fastest route to a professional blasting plant. For larger components or special workflows, SAPI plans custom sandblasting halls from 3 to 100 metres in length, on request with a sliding roof, crane runway or blasting robot.
