From the founder to the second generation
Klaus Fertl
Founder
In 1970, Klaus Fertl founded SAPI with a clear goal: blasting technology that is robust, efficient and built to last. His patents, such as the 1989 “device in sandblasting lines” and the SANASA wet suction turbine, laid the technical foundation of the company.
Marcel Fertl
Managing Director / CEO
Today, Marcel Fertl leads SAPI in the second generation. He combines more than five decades of experience with new technologies and markets, and SAPI remains fully family-owned.
What we build
Blasting technology from a single source
From the PREMIUM fine-blasting unit for listed buildings to complete blast rooms, the BASIC container line and the robotic ROBOBlast™, everything is engineered and manufactured in Möttingen. More than 30 patents and applications show our drive to innovate.

Manufactures painting halls and paint-shop technology for the SAPI group, plus sales, service and projects for customers in Türkiye.

SAPI systems are at work all over Europe and beyond, as far as the Americas. Every year we handle more than 9,000 orders, over 4,000 of them through our online shop, and the number keeps growing.
